Sherrie and Gregs Wedding

We spent this past weekend in Birmingham photographing this beautiful wedding. Sherrie is the sister of one of our good friends, Sarah Kelly, and we are honored that they chose us to capture their big day! They wanted a true photojournalistic approach to their wedding with very few posed pictures (which we loved), so you will notice this wedding reflects that once all of the photos are posted. We had a great time at the reception with the whole family and wish them the best in their future together.

Okay, I know this is a little bit off topic, but I love food! What's better than food you ask? Chocolate! Rae and I went to Savannah, GA this weekend to photograph Amber and Antonio's wedding while managing to squeeze in a little dinner when we arrived Friday night. I must tell you that this is a photo of a delicious, flourless, dissolve in your mouth Godiva chocolate cake with rasberry sauce! It looked so good that I HAD to make a picture to remember it by before we demolished it. Sad isn't it? Who wants a piece now?

The Party Animals!

I thought you all might enjoy a photo of your 2 favorite photographers!! This is a rare occurance these days...we are BOTH in front of the camera with no camera in our hands! We were having a good time at Sara's wedding a few weeks ago. FYI- Sara is Wesley's sister and she chose me as her matron of honor so Wes had to be the official photographer!! Enjoy!

Dana & Monty in Destin!!

I am so sorry for the delay in posting!! It has been CRAZY lately. Lots of weddings, lots of other sessions....just super busy. But...you HAVE to see these photos. Dana & Monty got married at a very intimate beach ceremony at Henderson Beach in Destin. The water has never been more beautiful that it was on Saturday! The Emerald Coast is living up to its name! After the ceremony, we headed to The Village at Baytowne Wharf in the Sandestin Resort. Wesley & I have been anticipating this shoot because of the Village environment.
