We made it!

We have made it to Oahu and the trip was uneventful. For all of our friends and family, Avery was an angel and slept or played most of the way. The passengers around us were pleasantly surprised! Tomorrow we are renting a car and driving around the island while scouting places for an awesome engagement shoot coming up this week. Right now, we are across the street from a Cheesecake Factory that is calling my name before I turn in......Here is a recap of our trip.
Wes

This is a neat little feature now...they pop your route up on the monitors of the plane so you can see where you are at and where you have been....This is what 4400 miles and 9.5 hours looks like!

A little daddy time......

This is at the airport...yes, the airport!

The rest of these are from our balcony....This is Waikiki Beach and Diamondhead is visible off the left side of the bottom photo....more to come on that later.

Rebekah & Bob's Wedding

Rebekah and Bob had to wait a week for their blog entry here, so I am going to move them back up to the top of the list....You might remember them from the photo session at Bellingrath Gardens we did a few months back. They got married last weekend at Trinity Presbyterian on Bayou Boulevard with the reception following at New World Landing in downtown Pensacola. Funny enough, we all had the same flight from Atlanta to Pensacola Sunday as they were coming home from the Dominican Republic. Small World!

Bob's dad played the trumpet at the wedding with some of the other family brass....

The ceremony was just beautiful.......

Bob got a little jiggy at the reception!

Kristi and Daniel

Yea Friday wedding! Kristi and Daniel said "I Do" at St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze Friday night. There were well over 200 guests and the sunset ceremony was just beautiful. The food was provided by Classic City Catering again who always does an excellent job with the menu. This wedding turned out to be quite the party and the DJ was beside himself with how many and how long everyone danced to the 60's, 70's and 80's flashback.

We caught the bride in a little spiritual quiet time before the ceremony....

The ladies and their awesome shoes....

This is the ring bearer John Paul chatting it up with the flower girl and then chasing his mom down the aisle...more to come on this little comic further down!

Anyone remember "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"?

This is the best part...Little John Paul pulled the fire alarm during all of the dancing, so the Gulf Breeze Fire Department crashed the party. Of course we had to document that fire engine!

Laura & Donnie's backyard ceremony

Laura is a very good friend of mine! We worked together at FDLE and she trained me to process Crime Scenes. We had some great times together. I was very sad when she retired...I actually was depressed for a while. But, not Laura. She hopped on her Harley and rode into the sunset. Laura found her Prince Charming not too long ago and they got married in Laura's beautiful backyard. Laura thinks the world of Donnie and he treats her like a queen. They got married on a day that we had a wedding to shoot, but we made it there just in time to capture the ceremony. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and I think Donnie knows that he BETTER be good to my Laura! --rae

Are they cute or what?!

The lovebirds with their sweet moms!

Me with my friend!

The Proud family

Our good friend and client Carnley had us shoot some pictures of their family while Stephen's parents are in town. It is also baby Catherine's 6 month Birthday. How cute is she?? It has not rained for 3 weeks, but of course it started pouring when we wanted to do pictures in the park! So, we had our fun in & around the Museum of Commerce!
