Cara, Ben, & fab details!

Oh...where do I begin?? We LOVE details and their wedding was full of them! If we posted all of the details that we loved at this wedding, it would take up a whole page. So, you are just gonna have to look at these for now! Also, we are usually blessed with really nice people for our weddings, but these people were all so nice to us. I think it might be because more than half of the wedding party are blog stalkers. They also stalk Avery's blog (see the link on the right) & I think they were a little sad that we didn't bring her!

Cara was decked out with her "bride" gear...head to toe!!

Just a nice dress detail!

You will be seeing so many of these flowers. They were awesome. They were fun, bright, and cheery which was just like the people holding them! Each bouquet had a crystal initial for each bridesmaid too.

The FOB (father of the bride to you non-cool people)made this wagon for the kids in the wedding. There were 6 flower girls and 1 ring bearer ranging from 15 months to 6 years. They ALL were angels!!

Such a pretty bride!

These ladies are cool and they know it. Don't even question it...they ARE cool.

Pre-wedding story time for the kids.

The last minute looks between dad and daughter before walking down the aisle are always my favorite!

This is what came up during the ceremony. It reminds Wes of that scene in the Ghostbusters movie. The cloud opened right after the ceremony. I think most of the guests were able to make it to their cars!

We headed over to the Officer's Club at NAS and hoped the rain would hold off so we could get a few there. It stopped for maybe 15 minutes and we were able to get some awesome shots! That's the O Club in the background!

This is SOOOO Cara! But, I like the other people in this one too!

Four generations & two photographers!!

Wesley & I were so honored to be commissioned to photograph this fabulous family. This family is so special in so many ways. 1st - there were 4 generations there and that s always special. 2nd - the oldest member of the family is 96 and he still absolutely adores his wife! 3rd - The 3rd generation of the family are a brother and sister and they are BOTH photographers. Eric lives in Austin, TX and Rayna lives in Rapid City, SD. Yeah...no pressure here. 4th - The photographers are both expecting their 2nd child!! How cool is that?? We really enjoyed talking "shop" with Rayna & Eric and wish we could have spent longer with them. We all seem to have the same interests in the world of photography and it's so interesting to talk to people in our industry that aren't in our market. Anyway, we had a good time and we didn't melt in the noontime July heat.

These two are so dang cute!! Can you see the admiration on Anita's face?

Eric & Rayna are in the middle.

I love this shot. It shows 4 generations and an entire view of a tree which is commonly used as a sign of family. You know....the family tree. Nicole was obviously not as impressed with this shot as I was! LOL! This was Wes' shot!! This is why I pay him the big bucks!

The next 2 shots....so many kisses and so much love!

Thanks so much for trusting us to capture your precious family. We know it's not easy to be on the other side of the camera and you all did it so well! We just spent some time on Eric's blog and he has a very funny video of his son. I really like Eric's sense of humor.

Portofino Family Session

We had a very nice beach session this afternoon with this family visiting from Lousiana. They are staying at the beautiful Portofino Resort on Pensacola Beach and wanted to feature the architecture of the buildings in their photos. If any of you blog stalkers are thinking of a beach getaway here in the south, this may just be the place for you!

We're Sorry!

We're Sorry! We have been receiving e-mails lately and some are up to nine months old. We are apparently going to have to find a new host for our website that is more reliable, but in the future, please to not hesitate to pick up the phone and call us if we do not respond to your e-mails in a timely manner. Unfortunately this is the bad side of technology and hopefully no one is too mad at us if we ignored them!

Cat is all smiles!

I can't believe Cat is over 6 months old already and Avery isn't far behind her. She smiles and giggles so much. Does she have gorgeous eyes or what?! All of these have only window light for the lighting....It's so yummy!
