Guess what? I'm back! Why did I go LA without Rae you ask? Well, one of my favorite photographers in the country hosted myself and 4 others into his life and business for a day and it was fantastic. I spent all day Tuesday with BECKER at his PARTY OF FIVE where we spent a lot of time getting motivated and learning some new tricks. We spent the morning talking business and then in the afternoon we went to an engagement shoot in the O.C. What a beautiful place to photograph and a great looking couple too!

The B man doing his thing he does best...

One of those candid moments......

I stole this directly off Becker's blog...

If anyone wants to see what he shot too, give him a visit on his blog at www.thebecker.com If he or Kathleen read this I want to thank you guys again for being so hospitable and such a pleasure to be around. It was a GREAT day!

A new Baby for me to photograph!!!

I am so excited to show you photos of 1-day old Natalie! She is absolutely precious and looks JUST like her daddy. Jenni & Jason got married in November 2005 at an old mansion in Dublin, Georgia. Their album design is actually still posted on my main site!! You will definitely be seeing more of Baby Natalie on my blog.

This is my FAVORITE image from Jenni & Jason's wedding! Don't you think Natalie looks like Jason???!!!!

Greetings from LA

Well, I did it..... I finally made it all the way to the west coast. I have always wanted to see the Pacific Ocean, and now it has been a great time being in LA. I am here for a photography seminar with Becker who is hosting me and 4 other photographers from around the country in his home for a day. More on all that later. I came to LA a couple of days before my meeting to be a tourist and see the sights.

We'll start with a couple of pics from the plane. I love plane pictures. This first one is over Texas looking down at the storm system currently causing so much ice and problems in the midwest. This looked like a Kodak moment...

This is the mountain range just east of LA basically separating the desert from the ocean. Palm Springs is to the left in this photo while beautiful green, grassy Orange County is to the right on the back side.

When I arrived yesterday, I decided to get out of town.... I drove about 25 miles northwest of LA to the Simi Valley and visited the Ronald Regan Presidential Library. From the time I saw his funeral last year at this beautiful library, I said that if I was ever in the area that this would definitely be a destination. It was not dissapointing! The main attraction of the museum below was Air Force One. This is the original here, not some Hollywood imitation! And.....I got to walk through it too. Notice the view through the glass in front of it. They were setting up for a wedding reception underneath while I was there. How cool would that be?

This is the view of the valley from Reagan's grave site behind the building....Spectacular!

I spent the night a few miles south in the mountains near Mailbu so I could spend the morning driving the Pacific Coast Highway back into LA. Malibu was the location where Baywatch was filmed (not that I ever watched it of course). Here are some photos along the coast....

Future gang members at work practicing on the public graffiti wall...

Here is my ugly mug at Venice Beach near LA. Notice the curved sidewalk in behind me you have probably seen a million times in movies with people skating and biking in the background. It is also known well from the movie White Men Can't Jump.

There are so many things I could not make pics of that were just unbelievable. Driving down Sunset Avenue through Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and down Rodeo Drive was fantastic. I saw everything from the UCLA campus, The Kodak Theater, the Hollywood Stars sidewalk and the streets of beautiful Santa Monica. So far it has been a great trip. The only thing missing is Rae! Tomorrow I am working my way on down the coast from Long Beach (where Rae was born) down to Mission Viejo, CA for my seminar. More to come soon.

A peak inside my belly!!

After getting harrassed by so many of you, I decided to post a new photo of me with a growing belly. I don't look exactly great in this photo, but I was tired of the badgering. So, here I am last week at 26 weeks (that is 6 months).

This is an ultrasound photo from this week. I had another quick clandestine ultrasound. What can I say....I have good friends! This took me a while to see, so I made labels to help you out. Once you understand what everything is, you will say, "Awwwwwww!!!" She has both hands up near her face. Her left arm is covering the left side of her face. Good luck!

Sarah & Jeremy

This couple is very important to us since Sarah's family has been part of my extended family since before I was born. To make a long story short, Sarah's aunt and her family are the closest thing I have to blood relatives without being officially related. Although we grew up 8 hours apart, Sarah and I have seen each other off and on at their family parties since we were both kids. She is now 26 and soon to be married to a great guy herself. We had a really nice afternoon with them in Ft. Walton yesterday, so I am giving them some extra love on the blog......

UPDATE: These looked so good in B/W too that I had to add them......

To all of the Huntingtons and Ashworths, we love you all very much and are so thrilled to be such an important part of Sarah and Jeremy's big day. Don't worry, they are in good hands ;-) Wesley
