Melissa's Bridals

Today was Ms. Melissa's bridal shoot before her wedding this upcoming weekend. It was another COLD day. Could someone tell old man winter that our brides do not care for their skin to look blue? Anywho, Melissa was so hot in that dress, the cold seemed irrelevant. She gave us permission to post these even though her wedding is still two days away! Is she absolutely stunnning, or what????

Uncle Scott shines again!

You are witnessing what has to be the most yuppie shower gift we have received at this point.....a Bose wave radio with Cd Player. This is from my best friend and Avery's soon to be Uncle Scott. Scott is high on the corporate ladder with the Bose corporation, and he is the best at coming through with all of our Bose needs. Avery can now relax in style with the sounds of Pooh and all of those kiddie songs playing in her nursery on nothing but the best in quality sound. In some small way I think this was Scott's way of helping me forgive him for his making me watch An Inconvenient Truth last week. I am still trying to get the sound of Al Gore saying "Lubrication" several times during the movie out of my head. Needless to say, he is the best friend a guy can have and we are excited about his upcoming move from New Hampshire back to the Asheville, NC area.

Jami's Fabulous Pink Room

Meet Jami...
She is the daughter of one of our Brides from 2006....Rae went over to their house to take photos of Jami's baby brother, but Jami was so photogenic that she stole some of the attention. These were too cute not to post!









This is my favorite! When Rae asked Jami if she wanted to jump on the bed, she said, "I'm really not supposed to. BUT I WILL." Rae is such a bad influence!

Christy & Zac

Christy & Zac are getting married on a cruise ship this summer, so we got together for an engagement session in downtown Pensacola today....Zac started out all manly, but by the end we had them kissing like no one else was around! Zac...don't act like you didn't have fun. We all know you did! Isn't Christy a knockout?!

Introducing our new full-time employee......

This is it. I am finally announcing our newest full-time employee. Some of you may have already figured it out....IT'S WESLEY!! He is officially coming to work for our business full-time. We have been planning this for a while and anticipated him quitting his job when the baby was born. But, after much deliberation, we realized that there was so much to be done before the baby gets here. Trust me...his list is long! He does so much for the business already, so I won't list everything here. But, don't be shocked if he answers the phone when you call! Wes started out just dragging my equipment around and rounding people up for formals, but that didn't last very long. He got bored being bossed around and I finally gave him a camera. He discovered a passion and hasn't looked back. If you have been a subject in our photos, you know that we compete for the coolest shots and he definitely wins his fair share. Some of our most raved about images are actually Wesley's and I have to suck it up! He is good.....but, we're not changing the business name! So, 2007 has a whole lot in store for us! We will be learning to work together ALL the time and welcoming our sweet Baby girl in about 9 weeks. Pray for us to make it through the next few months sane and pray for Wesley to be able to handle a very hormonal wife! So, join me in welcoming my fabulous husband as an official full-time photographer!!!
