Beautiful Alabama Plantations

This weekend's wedding took place in Lowndesboro, AL, which is about 20 miles west of Montgomery. This wedding brought three little words to mind.....location, location, location! Although the ceremony took place at a church, most of the photos were taken at the reception site which is an old plantation home. The bride and groom also saw each other before the wedding which allowed us time to get these fantastic photos. Kendall knew exactly what she was doing when she planned the day and we want to thank them and their families for the great hospitality!

The great thing about Rae and I working as a team is that while she was setting up this beautiful silhouette......

I crept up behind Randy to capture him admiring the beautiful bride

What groom in his right mind could resist this?

The Groom's anticipation...

Vows were spoken...

The gardens outside of the plantation home window....

And last but not least, the beautiful bouquet!

Look for other Kendall & Randy teasers in the proofing section!

Tara and Gill

Saturday was a glorious day to be in South Walton County Florida near Sandestin. Tara and Gill picked a beautiful day for an outside wedding. Here are a few of the photos....

These two were really into each other during the first dance

The Twins!!

It has been a while since I posted, but I decided I better post these pics since I have gotten emails from friends who loved these!

I was so excited to get to photograph 1-year old twins, Carson & Caroline. They were both very sweet and loving. Carson flirted with me from the moment he saw me, but Caroline was a little more reserved at first. By the end of our session, Caroline & I were good friends! They are both taking steps and Caroline is on her way to walking....Girls ROCK!

Jennifer and Lilly

We did something special tonight. Jennifer has a World Champion Palomino horse named 'Lilly' that she wanted to include in her bridal portraits. We have been waiting for weeks to do this shoot! Unfortunately we cannot post all of the photos until after the wedding, but I have worked a couple of them in here. The horse and bride both were absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to post some of these on the website next month!
