Introducing our new full-time employee......

This is it. I am finally announcing our newest full-time employee. Some of you may have already figured it out....IT'S WESLEY!! He is officially coming to work for our business full-time. We have been planning this for a while and anticipated him quitting his job when the baby was born. But, after much deliberation, we realized that there was so much to be done before the baby gets here. Trust me...his list is long! He does so much for the business already, so I won't list everything here. But, don't be shocked if he answers the phone when you call! Wes started out just dragging my equipment around and rounding people up for formals, but that didn't last very long. He got bored being bossed around and I finally gave him a camera. He discovered a passion and hasn't looked back. If you have been a subject in our photos, you know that we compete for the coolest shots and he definitely wins his fair share. Some of our most raved about images are actually Wesley's and I have to suck it up! He is good.....but, we're not changing the business name! So, 2007 has a whole lot in store for us! We will be learning to work together ALL the time and welcoming our sweet Baby girl in about 9 weeks. Pray for us to make it through the next few months sane and pray for Wesley to be able to handle a very hormonal wife! So, join me in welcoming my fabulous husband as an official full-time photographer!!!

Lisa & Jeremy got married at the PYC!!

We feel so honored to be a part of this wedding. Lisa's sister, Leslie, is the event coordinator at the Pensacola Yacht Club. Leslie knows LOTS of vendors and she trusted us enough to photograph Lisa's wedding. We always enjoy the PYC...the lighting is good, the view is fabulous, lots of spots for photos, and the food is always YUMMY. Hey....you know a pregnant girl thinks about food alot! The ceremony was inside since it was a bit chilly, but it really worked and was gorgeous. We are posting a few extra photos than usual because we just can't narrow them down. And...according to Jeremy's mom, some of our Canadian website hits are coming from their family and we want to give them lots of previews! Hey Canadians...I guess 50 degrees F is not all that chilly to you!

The little fella is Lisa's nephew (and the ringbearer), Luke. The big fella is Billy, Leslie's husband. I think there was a dance competition between these two! It was a close one, but Billy didn't do any break-dancing, so I give the award to Luke.

Mindy & Brent

We braved the chilly weather for a walk in the woods for Mindy & Brent's Engagement photos! Their wedding is in December, but we are super excited about it because of the location. You will just have to check back in December to see what I mean! You saw Mindy's brother, Bobby, on a blog about a month ago with his fiance', Claudia. Their family has to put up with us for 2 weddings!! Back to Mindy and Brent....they really enjoy each other. We had no problems getting them to hug and kiss.

Melissa and Mike Engagements

It was another cloudy and wintry day here in Pensacola....luckily we had these two to heat things up. Melissa and Mike are getting married here in Pensacola in two weeks, so we braved the weather and got some great shots of them today. How cute are these two?

My First Baby Shower!

I was the guest of honor this past weekend at a baby shower. This shower was for all of our family and friends in Mobile, AL. (Wes and I are both from Mobile) There were LOTS of people there and LOTS of presents to be opened. It was a great shower and was hosted by my 3 bridesmaids - my sister, Margie; Wes' sister, Sara; and my friend from HS, Karla. The food was great and the company was even better. I was so excited to see some people that I haven't seen in a while. Wesley was the "hired" photographer for the event so we got some good shots I'd like to share with you all. Now, I use the word "hired" loosely....he's not really getting paid. I was so overwhelmed by all the wonderful gifts! I loved everything, but I know I didn't show it as much I should have....it was just so overwhelming!

This is one of my DEAREST friends, Stephanie. We have been good friends since the 6th grade....OMG - that is TWENTY years!!!!! I love you Steph!


These lovely ladies are the reason I am here! This is my grandmother and my mom. Aren't they cute? Have I ever told you that my mom and I won a mother/daughter look-a-like contest about 14 years ago?? I get my curly hair and my annoying personality from my dad. All the other genes are straight from my mom.
