Miss Erica's Senior Portraits

Erica needed some fab portraits for her senior yearbook, so we were more than happy to hook her up. Dad came along and said we could shoot her wedding (in 15 years)haha. We spent a couple of hours going from downtown to the beach and having a good time.

Here we grow again.....

The world is constantly changing and so are we! We have worked hard over the last 5 years to grow our business in the Pensacola area, and although it has been extremely good to us, we feel it's time to set our sights on a bigger picture (hehe, pun intended). We have recently started a new marketing campaign in Atlanta and will be covering you and Pensacola with NO TRAVEL FEES. Atlanta is a great town with plenty of great people, and we are excited to bring our style of wedding photography and expertise to you. Beautiful Maternity Session

We did a maternity session with this cute couple last week and this is going to be one lucky baby. They were so nice and their session was just lovely. Here is a sneak peek for them until we get everything posted. Enjoy.....

Our vacation recap.....

We had a great time doing absolutely nothing for 4 days in Tennessee after our visit to Atlanta..... We were hoping for cooler weather, but lows in the 50's were not too bad. This was our first trip back since our very serious car wreck two years ago, so it was nice to finally put some closure on that also. Anyway, here are a few photos. We did not make too many since we were trying to get away from the norm. It's VERY hard to put a camera down though......

Not our wedding!

So Rae, Avery and I got to be guests last week for a family wedding! Well, you know we could not go without camera in hand. Wesley's cousin Melanie had a beauiful wedding reception at the Crown Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta. She and Danny were actually married earlier this year in a small private ceremony, so this was their grand reception and all out good time. This hotel was amazing with a nature sanctuary in the middle of some very tall buildings...... My goal was to be totally invisible to the other photographer which I think I did successfuly, so my angles may seem a little different from the norm.

It all started with cocktail hour in the middle of the sanctuary......beautiful! You can see Rae and Avery in the bottom here.

Christine and Joe in Atlanta

Christine & Joe are one of our November couples from the Atlanta area. We met up with them while we were in town at their church on the beautiful Chattahoochee River for a nice morning session with Joe's daughter Joey. They are getting married on Pensacola Beach with the reception following at the beautiful Portofino Resort. Bliss Event Group is handling all of the details, so it should be quite the event. See you guys in November!!

Our trip......

We are on vacation in the Smokey Mountains this week having a great time. We have a cabin with hot tub on the back deck, on the side of a mountain with quite a view. This was all for Avery, we're just tagging along. We have an engagement session from Atlanta coming soon, along with some wedding photos where we "did not" have to work, but couldn't resist a few. In the mean time, our internet access is happening thanks to the local McAllisters Deli. Sometimes it's great to get a little lost before the busy season....

We were invited to be guests at a wedding in Atlanta so we decided to make a vacation out of it. We will post photos from our trip soon. We will be back in the office on Tuesday, September 25th.

PS - Avery is rolling over!! And....she is getting her first tooth!

We did a photo shoot down at "Whatever" on Thursday for their new ad in Coastal Weddings Magazine. This is a great little vintage furniture and accessory store near the intersection of Barrancas and K Street for those of you here in Pensacola. Be sure to stop in and see them the next time you are looking for something really unique for the house or a gift.....

E-session in Mobile with Erica & Mike

I met Erica and Mike in Mobile for some engagement pics. We walked around scouting out some cool places and we definitely found a few. Erica is in med school with Julia. (Thanks for telling Erica about us Julia!!!!) Anyway - they are getting married in Auburn in the spring. I kept telling Mike that he had a hottie and I think you will all agree. Erica is so beautiful and the camera loves her. I can't wait to see what we do for her Bridals. I know she will be a stunning Bride.

Lauren & Cody on the beach!

Wesley and I went to Santa Rosa Beach near Seaside on Saturday for a morning wedding. For those of you seeing this who have never been to the Gulf Coast, this is why we live here. It was an absolutely beautiful day! The sky was pure blue and the water was shades of Emerald and Teal. The wind was blowing...but it was a bit hot in the blaring sun. Unfortunately, we didn't think ahead and put on sunscreen...we got a little rosy. Anyway, Lauren & Cody had a beautiful ceremony with about 50 guests, and were able to walk back to their beach house for an intimate reception. It was a relaxed wedding for a very sweet couple.
