Today was the wedding of this beautiful couple..... Anna & Jeff got married at Pensacola Christian Church and I'm sure she was the prettiest bride they have ever seen. We wanted so badly to photograph thier wedding, but Avery had different plans for us this month. We are so happy for her and Jeff and cannot wait to photograph their kids one day...

Leslie's Bridals

Yeah we're back! We missed being off the last few weeks for maternity leave, and there was no better way to get back into the saddle than a bridal shoot with Leslie. She and Sean are getting married in May at Old Christ Church in downtown Pensacola, and she was stunning today. How about these pink heels? What great look! We cannot wait for their wedding! If anyone knows a bride getting married who may even be using another photographer, we'll be happy to hook them up with a bridal shoot like this one for only $175.....

April 15, 2000 - SEVEN YEARS

Seven years ago today I married my soulmate. I feel so blessed and honored to have Wesley as my husband and now the father of my baby. We are so good together and I can't imagine being with anyone else. So, to my husband....I love you and I hope we make it to 70 years! And to my parents who are celebrating their 38th anniversary today....CONGRATS to you!

Well, after little sleep for a few nights, we are finally settling in. I know there are lots of people including our family who will always want to see lots of Avery photos. UPDATE!!!! This is Rae! We are all home and all is well so far. Avery's white blood count came down (they don't know what the deal was) and she is fine. We also found out that Avery actually weighed 7 pounds 11.8 ounces so her birth certificate will read 7 lbs, 12 oz....just an FYI. For those of you who said C-sections are easy....you should lay off the crack. THEY SUCK!!! My recovery has been very good, but the procedure....I'll stop now.

Hi everyone!

First off, let me give a special thanks to Patsy Brown for taking those wonderful photos today and getting them posted for us. There is no internet access in the hospital (how crazy is that?), so I am doing the best I can to get some stuff posted. Avery weighed in at 7lbs, 11 ounces and 19" long. She had little chubby cheeks and the sweetest cry you have ever heard. As of this afternoon, her white cell blood count was a little high and rising, so she got an IV tonight "in her head :-( " and will be getting antibiotics every 8 hours. She had a fever of a little over 100.7 I think when she was born, so it is hopefully just a little infection that the antibiotics will knock out. Here are a few more photos I made today. She will have her own blog up and running soon with more photos from the hospital. Thanks to everyone for the love!!!!

SHE IS HERE!!!!!!!!

Hey yall, this is Patsy Brown, for the first time hacking into Rae and Wes's (they do it to me all the time,and I LOVE IT tee hee) blog to let everyone know that the most beautiful baby girl in the world has just been born. She is simply PRECIOUS! I have kids of my own but I am telling yall this baby is the most beautiful baby girl I have EVER seen!!!!!!! Just wait till you see her. So here are a few images of Ms. Avery Rae and the VERY proud parents, grandparents, aunts and ME the "Uncle" don't ask. Mommy, Daddy and Baby Avery are doing just GREAT!!!!!!

Maryann & Brian

Since Rae is on maternity leave for a while, I have been hanging out at weddings with the famous Patsy Brown to help her out and keep my skills sharp. I joined her at the Santa Rosa Beach Club in South Walton County Sunday for a very nice wedding with Maryann & Brian. This was a destination wedding with most of the guests from Georgia and other parts of the country. The clouds parted just in time for the wedding! -Wesley



Rae usually does not let me in the room with the ladies getting ready, but since she was not there I treated the girls to my presence!
